How to Become Limitless

Overcome the number one challenge we're all facing.

Last week I published a newsletter called ‘3 Keys to Music Success’. It was meant to be a little bit basic, and to remind you of the fundamentals for achieving major success in the music industry.

But there is another Key that I want to share with you… a key that you must have before you can use any of the other ones properly.

It is the key to becoming limitless.

If you learn and practice the methodology that I have outlined below, then you will be able to achieve greatness no matter what industry, path, or profession you choose…

It all boils down to 3 words:

Believe in yourself.

A wise man once said…

Whether you think you can, or you think you can't — you're right.

Henry Ford

It all starts with believing in your own potential, power, and capability to achieve greatness. You can only rise to the level of your own vision for your life.

If your vision for your life is just scraping by, then you will get stuck in that pattern. If your vision for your life is to have a huge impact on the world, then you will be compelled to take action in that direction.

Let’s talk about self-sabotage.

Self-sabotage happens when you find yourself in a situation that does not reflect the limiting beliefs you have about your life.

For instance, if you don’t think you are capable or worthy of success, then your subconscious mind will reinforce that limiting belief by creating events in your life that confirm that belief system.

In other words, you won’t take the actions that would make you successful, or you’ll subconsciously take actions that keep you from finding success.

But there is an opposite force that can make you naturally attract more success into your life.

Let’s call it ‘self-made-serendipity’.

ser·en·dip·i·ty - the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.

"a fortunate stroke of serendipity"

By changing your beliefs about yourself, your subconscious will begin to take different actions that reflect that belief system.

If you believe that you are always successful and that failures are a neccessary stepping stone towards a greater success, then your subconscious mind will take actions to make that belief a reality.

Don’t get me wrong here Homie… you still have to put in the work.

It’s just that the ‘work’ will seem less stressful, and you’ll enjoy many more lucky coincidences that propel you faster and faster toward your goal. You’ll feel like you are moving toward success naturally.

It all starts by changing and/or erradicating your limiting beliefs.

Here are some specific, actionable ways that you can transform your life and empower yourself to achieve massive results.

Use these 5 tools to become limitless:

1. Challenge, Replace, Repeat

Identify the limiting belief and actively challenge it.

For example, if you believe “I’m not talented enough to succeed in music,” gather evidence that contradicts this. Look at your achievements, however small, and feedback from others that highlight your talent and potential.

Replace the limiting belief with an empowering statement, such as “I have unique talents that are highly valued in the music industry.” Make it a habit to reinforce these positive beliefs by repeating them aloud every day. These statements become your daily affirmations.

Positive affirmations reprogram your mind to believe in your capabilities and goals.

Start by writing down affirmations that directly counteract your negative beliefs. Repeat these affirmations OUT LOUD daily, especially in moments of doubt. This constant, positive self-talk will reshape how you view yourself and your potential over time.

2. Visualize Success

Start by clearly defining what success in the music industry looks like for you.

Is it signing a record deal, hitting a million streams, landing a six-figure sync placement, or selling out arenas?

Whatever it is, visualize yourself achieving these goals, and repeat the process daily. What does it look like to sign that deal, hit those numbers, or play to a crowd that big? Make it as vivid as possible in your imagination, and FEEL THE FEELING that you will feel when it happens.

This mental rehearsal boosts your confidence and programs your mind to act in ways that align with your goals.

Visualization isn’t just daydreaming; it’s a rehearsal for success.

3. Set Achievable Benchmarks for Your Goals

Overcoming limiting beliefs is easier when you can see your progress.

Break your big goals into smaller, manageable tasks that you can achieve quickly and consistently. Success in these smaller goals builds confidence and disproves the false narrative of your limiting beliefs.

For instance, if you believe you can't finish an album, start by completing one song. Each small victory is proof against your limiting beliefs and focuses your mindset towards greater successes.

4. Continuous Learning and Skill Development

Often, limiting beliefs stem from feeling unprepared or inadequate.

Combat those feelings by committing to lifelong learning and continuous improvement of your skills. Whether it’s taking a new course in music production, studying the business side of music, or practicing your instrument, enhancing your abilities boosts your confidence and reduces feelings of inadequacy.

Attend workshops, read books, and listen to podcasts about both music and personal development. Knowledge is power, and the more you know, the less room there is for self-doubt.

5. Surround Yourself with Success

Environment impacts belief.

Surround yourself with people who not only support your dreams but are also examples of what achieving those dreams looks like.

This could be through finding a mentor, joining music industry groups, or following and interacting with successful artists on social media.

Being around successful people will change your perception of what’s possible and elevate your standards for yourself.

That’s a big part of what being a HOME Member is all about… it’s an environment of talented creators where you can always find someone who is a step ahead of you and learn from their successes!

By applying these 5 tactics, you’ll transform limiting beliefs into a mindset that attracts growth and success.

Remember, beliefs are a choice.

Choose beliefs that empower you and push you towards your goals.

Every step you take to get rid of your limiting beliefs is a step closer to becoming limitless and realizing your full potential in all areas of your life.
